Hey Everyone!
I am reporting my pretty awesome life. Not too much has happened lately. The most exciting things that happened were I cut a little bit of my thumb open with scissors and I stubbed my toe. For my toe I'll just say if I wanted to-I could take the tip of it off. It is very gross and still healing. There is still a bruise and will def. be a scar. Thanksgiving in Utah was very awesome. We had dinner with my Roberts side but going to Blake and Maren's the next day was the highlight of my weekend vacation. It was very fun and I miss it even more now! The car ride there and back was painful but I got through it. From then to today nothing huge went on. On Christmas Eve I sang a song I made up. (I make up songs on the piano and I am going to start writing them on the guitar which my dad gave me-it was his old one but it got spruced up for Christmas.) Christmas day was pretty fun. I got two books, a marvelous movie (The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian), candy, pajamas, some money, and a fashion magazine set. Those who know that I want to go into fashion marketing would know that the kit was very important to me. School is going pretty good. We are going to go on a field trip to Magic Mountain soon. It is cold here for us which is warm for everyone else. (55 degrees today) So I hope you all had a wonderful 2008 and you all will have an awesome 2009!
xoxo

VA BOZZZZZ
Thanks giving was great... If I do say so myself, the Turkey truned out perfect... Olga had a great Birthday also and is now catching up to me... the boys are still boys and I have to remind myself of that every day. They are all doing GREAT in school so I can't complain too much. I wanted to share a picture with you all.. it is not the best and I hope to have a better one that shows the mailbox also but for now enjoy the 18,460 lights. When I was putting them up, a neighbor came over and said how glad she was that I was doing it again this year. She was worried that I wasn't going to do it and was so happy that I was. She went on for about 5 min on how much joy it brings to the neighborhood and how much joy our home brings to those who drive by and live near. She then handed me a Thanksgiving card and said that I should open it at dinner. So I did and there was $40 in it with a statment of thanks for the joy and this is to help with the December electric bill... even though I am crazy... it is good to know that it brings more than joy just to my family. :)

Interesting News from Terrorist attack in India
Dear family,
I echo Becky's post that we enjoyed our trip to Utah for Thanksgiving, except for the long road trip home. I visited today with an attorney in our office who is from India. She has helped me on a couple of different projects that we have had in India. Her parents were having lunch in the Indian hotel that was attacked by terrorists. They heard the gunfire and fortunate for them, an alert security guard shut the door and instructed them to hide under the tables with the door locked -- you may have read this account in the newspapers. They then escaped the hotel and hid in a movie theatre next door until the following day. My friend continued to receive cell phone updates from her father every hour. She was in NY having thanksgiving with her Sister. Her parents made it out safely, but certainly were unnerved by the whole experience.

December already
Can you believe it is already December? We had a great time visiting with the Utah Beazer's on Friday and seeing (Great) Grandma Beazer on Saturday. Dad with the help of Mom, Jerry, Diane, Allan and Laurel has done a terrific job of remodeling (Great) Grandma Beazer's home. He is so talented.
One of the highlights of the weekend was the Cloud Nine concert. I will post pictures soon.
Can you believe it took us 16 hours to get home on Sunday? I think the entire state of California was heading west on I-15. We got off at one exit and so did a number of other people to get gas. We had to wait in line for a pump for about 15 minutes and then in line for the bathroom for 1 hour (except Michael and a number of other gentlemen who took advantage of their maleness and used the great outdoors). Needless to say, we were exhausted! I guess when they say it is the busiest travel day of the year, they aren't kidding.
I love you all and am looking forward to reading your posts about your activities during the month of December!
Love,
Becky
