Well it was a very interesting birthday to say the least lol. I had a lot of fun though. Unfortunately the private campaign get together was called off at the last minute. Nonetheless, hearing the greatest President in the last 20+ years speak was a tremendous opportunity that I will never forget.
It was really neat to be able to meet such prolific Arkansas Statesmen. Former Senator Dale Bumpers gave an extraordinary speech as well. It is amazing how sharp he is even now into his 80's.
President Clinton is such a gifted and intelligent man. In fact he is so good that when I would glance over from time to time I would catch Adam clapping for things that I never would have imagined him cheering for. In fact I seem to recall noticing what might have been the slight glimmer of a tear as the former President invoked the powerful message of broad economic reform and a careful and non-unilateral approach to foreign policy.
Thank you everybody for the Birthday wishes and for being such a great family. I often reflect on how incredibly fortunate I am to be a member of such a talented and extraordinarily loving family.
